The client requested a simple two colour illustrated logo. Her preferred colours were black and turquoise, which contrast strikingly together. The client sells beautiful contemporary and antique jewellery as well as 'objects of desire'. Her clientel is mainly  female, so the logo was targeted at this audience. She doesn't market to any specific age group, so this was kept in mind while illustrating. The final design is an ageless woman, and the retro style of the drawing relates well to the vintage pieces. The focused look on the face of the woman is to show a desire to have 'everything she wants'!
